Who knew you could make beautiful roses from gumdrops? I posted that same question on Facebook and a friend replied, why not? If you can make roses out of bread and glue...these are so fun and easy to make. This is only half of the dessert I'm making for my garden group gathering tomorrow. We're making Mosaic Rocks with Heidi Borchers and I thought we needed some garden themed refreshments. Back to the dessert. The roses are placed in a chocolate chip cookie pot filled with Nutella with cookie crumbs over it to look like soil. On to making hand squeezed lemonade.

Mosaics
I went to get fingerprinted today for teaching through adult ed and the county office has their logo in a mosaic at the entry. Cool!
BTW, come to find out, I have no fingerprints or 'swirlies' so it means I'll probably be questioned. I'm hoping my secret clearance with the government (I used to handle classified data for rocket launches) or working for the IRS helps me out. Yes, this girl has had many lives...
