The Chelsea Flower Show - HATS!!!!
It was certainly a hat day - Kathy and I started our day off visiting the hat exhibit at the Victoria and Albert Museum and then on to The Chelsea Flower Show where all these hats are made with flowers!!! Truly AMAZING!!!

OK, there's a little tulle on this one and yes, that's a man wearing it!

There were lots of fruits / veggies mixed in with flowers.

I can see this using an old bed spring.

The Chelsea Flower Show was AMAZING!!! (or should I say, STUNNING?)

There were vignettes with buildings and tons or flowers and shrubbery.

This guy was HUGE! He's made out of wire.

I LOVE leaves and this was huge and amazing!

Thought I'd take some picts of the rocks since I had a rock stacking project on here before I left.

Wow!  It's been a fabulous few days here in London.  Quick overview - interesting trips to the grocery store - I'm amazed at the differences, lunch at the Ukrainian Embassy yesterday, a party for 30 diplomats last night - very fun!  I had Pimm's for the first time. I'm amazed at how quickly the weather can change - rain one minute, sunshine the next - last night was perfect for the outdoor spring themed party.

We're off to the Chelsea Flower Show this afternoon after a museum visit.

Oh, my gosh!!! I received an email from my friend in London asking if I wanted to go to the Chelsea Flower Show when I'm there next month. I've heard about it, seen tv shows on it and now I'm going!!! What an exciting trip this will be - thanks KPH for thinking of me!
