Animal Print & Red Rose Mosaic Heart

My latest creation that will be available at the San Luis Obispo Open Studios Art Tour Oct 10-11 & 17-18.  I handmade the roses with clay and fired them.  I shaped each petal using the old Aleene's Bread Dough Roses technique where you start with a small ball of dough / clay.

Mosaic Shoe

Love my mosaic shoe!  Heidi Borchers taught this amazing class in her awesome studio filled with all kinds of tiles, beads, baubles...you name it she had it.  My inspiration was my grandparents China that was broken many years ago and has been hanging around taking up space.  I am thrilled to have preserved the heirloom and created a work of art in the process.
