Broken China Heirloom Tie Bars

The guys in my family are getting zipper ties and tie bars made using my grandparents broken china.

 I'm very excited about the Mosaic Shoe workshop tomorrow taught by Heidi Borchers!  We were talking earlier this week and she said something about using plates on the shoe - it hit me!  I recently ran across the broken China that belonged to my

grandparents.  I've had it for years waiting for the right project.  Pictures of the finished shoe late tomorrow.
