Sea Glass Jewelry & Mini Class Reunion

It was a fun day!  A classmate I hadn't seen in almost 40 years contacted me saying he was in town and wanted to take my Sea Glass and Wire Wrapping Jewelry class.  We were all set to meet today then another classmate called this morning saying she was in town and asked if she could stop by.  So, we all got together at my house and made jewelry.  So proud of them!  Love serendipity!

Sea Glass & Wire Wrapping Jewelry Class

What a great day!  Creativity, old friends and the making of new ones.  My dear friend and former co-worker at Aleene's, Denise, invited me to teach a creative class in my old stomping grounds in Lompoc.  Well, one class filled up and then we filled another.  It was so much fun and so energizing to see sixteen ladies twist and swirl wire, making sea glass jewelry masterpieces.

Next up, October 12th, we're making Gifts from the Garden.  Come join the fun and get a jump start on your holiday gift list.  Details are at www.CreativeMeTime.com

Fort Bragg Glass Beach

I was talking to an acquaintance recently and she mentioned she was heading to Mendocino.  I mentioned I am teaching Sea Glass Jewelry classes and I'd heard about a beach at Fort Bragg that is covered in sea glass.  She drove an hour and a half out of her way to bring me back a bag of sea glass! I was stunned!  Think I'll make her a necklace.

Mosaic Shoe

Love my mosaic shoe!  Heidi Borchers taught this amazing class in her awesome studio filled with all kinds of tiles, beads, baubles...you name it she had it.  My inspiration was my grandparents China that was broken many years ago and has been hanging around taking up space.  I am thrilled to have preserved the heirloom and created a work of art in the process.
