Hypertufa Class
I went out to check on my hypertufa farm this afternoon. I have eleven students signed up for a class through my local adult ed and I pre made these guys and they're curing for the class. So students get the full hypertufa experience, in the class we talk all about the ins and outs and then we mix a batch, they pour it and take that one home to cure. Then they'll learn about drilling holes, decorating them and then the hypertufa you see in the picture will be cured by then so they plant them in class with succulents. They get the entire life cycle of hypertufa. There are still four spaces left. Check it out - www.CreativeMeTime.com

Mixed Media Artist, Joan Fee will show you how easy it is to

decorate a shoe to your hearts content with decorative papers and magazines.
Joan’s even providing the succulents so you’ll take home a completed Succulent Shoe Garden!
We’ll have a little time while we wait for the decoupage
glue to dry so we can plant the succulents, so we’ll create sugar hand scrubs
that make your hands feel amazing! They are quick to make and we'll be adding
scents of yummy lavender or lemon from local gardens.
Rosemary Salt adds a perfect
touch to focaccia bread or your savory dishes. Joan will show how easily
you can whip this up at home, package it up in a cute container and it's ready
to give to the cooks on your gift list.
You’ll receive a sample and the recipe to create this at home.
This Gifts from the Garden Art and Tasting Workshop ends
with a demonstration on how to simple it is to make yummy Limoncello. We’ll
even have a little tasting and discuss ways to use Limoncello for entertaining.

See Canyon San Luis Obispo
Fall is Upon Us
The coast has been fogged in the last few days, so I ventured the 20 minutes to San Luis Obispo for some sunshine. It's amazing in less then 15 minutes the temperature went from 88 to 64. I took See Canyon all the way to the end and it goes into Perfumo Canyon Road that drops out by Madonna Inn.
