Slab Clay Flower Ideas

I had so much fun using the slab roller to make these flowers and leaves.  I can't wait to use them in upcoming gifts and for some mosaic workshops.  Come learn to make them at a workshop soon - it's super simple!  Www.CreativeMeTime.com

Painting on a Mug

Our Meet Up group had a handmade gift exchange this week so I painted on an inexpensive large mug using Pebeo glass paint.  It's simple to use - paint your design, let it dry then cure it in the oven for 40 minutes.  I added some mug recipes and pasta to top it off.

Mosaic Monograms

I had great fun making these mosaic monograms for Christmas gifts.  Come join me in a mosaic class in 2015 and learn how easy it is!  I've been loading up workshops on the website Www.CreativeMeTime.com.  The red mosaic M was made using my grandparent's broken china - it was even a Craftsman brand!

Mosaic Wine Bottle Projects

Finished a special gift for my nephew and new niece.  They got married at this winery in April.

Broken China Heirloom Tie Bars

The guys in my family are getting zipper ties and tie bars made using my grandparents broken china.

Bread Dough Snowman

I couldn't wait to finish the entire project to share with you.  This cute snowman is made from bread dough except for the twigs and he's only about 2-1/2" tall.  I have to let him dry and then I'll post a completed photo.  He's for a holiday workshop where we'll be doing some reverse collage, and of course, bread dough!

Ceramic Heart Love

Heidi Borchers and I handmade these ceramic heart wall plaques / mobiles for the Creative Me Time Retreat and had some leftover kits so we thought we'd offer them to our blogger friends.  The kits include a 5" ceramic heart, a ceramic flower, 2 ceramic leaves, a couple of small accent tiles, wire to string on the beads, tons of colorful beads, instructions and a lot of love.  All of this for only $20 plus $5 shipping in the US.  Whip these up for awesome holiday gifts!  Message me at craftproductsatyahoo.com.

Succulent Shoe Garden Special Commission

Starting a special commission Succulent Shoe Garden tonight for a very special person.  The client let me pick the theme and I have an idea that's perfect for her.

Shoes are my 'thing' at the moment.  When I'm 'home' this weekend I'm picking up another special commission for wedding shoes but this time I scan in photos of the client's family, have them professionally printed on fabric and apply it to the shoes.  Shoes, shoes, shoes...love, love, love...

Creative Me Time Women's Retreat

We had such a fabulous weekend at the Creative Me Time Retreat!  We created Vision Boards for 2015 - look out 2015 these are strong and beautiful women ready to take on the new year!  We expanded our creative horizons and mixed white bread and glue to make amazing bread dough roses that we added to a decoupaged frame.  Then it was on to making a heart plaque with ceramic pieces and beads.  In between all that there were several naps taken, much, much, much food, shopping, hikes, reading...it was a perfect getaway weekend!  Check out upcoming retreats and workshops at www.CreativeMeTime.com

Ceramic Roses and Mosaic Fun

I worked on my mosaic masterpiece today and I'm almost done!  Hopefully next week.  We only get together for two hours every week so it's slow and steady.  I made the roses using the Aleene's Bread Dough technique but I used clay.  They make me smile...
