Learn How to Paint on Glass

Great class last night.  I love it when students think outside of the box.  They got so excited and started experimenting with cosmetic sponge swirls and dot hearts.  They're ready to come back to the open studio, October 2nd.

Sea Glass Jewelry & Mini Class Reunion

It was a fun day!  A classmate I hadn't seen in almost 40 years contacted me saying he was in town and wanted to take my Sea Glass and Wire Wrapping Jewelry class.  We were all set to meet today then another classmate called this morning saying she was in town and asked if she could stop by.  So, we all got together at my house and made jewelry.  So proud of them!  Love serendipity!

Creative Week

It's a busy, fun creative week...a high school classmate is coming Monday to learn how to make Sea Glass Jewelry then at night it's time to paint on wine glasses!  Tuesday I'm playing with EZ Screen Print personalizing favors for the Creative Me Time Retreat.  Wednesday is a little day-time play-time over at Heidi Borchers Design Studio where I'll work on a mosaic project and finish up the ceramic pieces for the retreat for the mobiles the attendees will make.  Thursday it's Sea Glass time again!  This is my hottest class and just last weekend sixteen people created amazing jewelry pieces.  Friday is a creative breather but that means it's time for creativity on the computer with lots of exciting things to share on social media.  Come join a class, expand your creative horizons and learn something new!  Info on all of my classes and the exciting retreat are at www.CreativeMeTime.com

How to Make a Vision Board

Another exciting workshop for the Creative Me Time Retreat is a Vision Board or Destiny Board or Treasure Map.  No matter what you call this fun and insightful project it really does make you stop and think about what you want.  It can be about things you want to work on in 2015 or maybe you're trying to decide on a new home decor look - whatever your desire, this is the perfect avenue to get the process following.

The Creative Me Time Retreat, October 17-19, in beautiful Cambria, CA is THE place to be to do whatever your heart desires for an entire weekend.  We're offering three optional creative classes, so it's up to you - a little shopping, a little creativity, a little nap, taking in the ocean...come join the experience of doing whatever you want.

Aleene's Bread Dough Recipe

People are always excited about these beautifully detailed roses and then they're AMAZED when I tell them they're made from white bread and Aleene's Tacky Glue!  Yes - bread and glue!  It's a recipe that's been around for ages and we're going to feature this technique at the Creative Me Time Retreat October 17-19th in gorgeous Cambria, California.  Come join Heidi Borchers and me for a weekend that's all about you!  Yup, an entire weekend filled with yummy food, 3 creative classes, shopping, napping, the Pacific Ocean, reading...whatever sounds good to you.

Info is on our website www.CreativeMeTime.com - we've made the retreat very affordable (only $195 all inclusive) - space is limited - right now's a good time to sign up.

Oh, we're adding the roses to the frame, gluing on some other embellishments and you'll take home a beautiful creation ready for that perfect picture.

Sea Glass & Wire Wrapping Jewelry Class

What a great day!  Creativity, old friends and the making of new ones.  My dear friend and former co-worker at Aleene's, Denise, invited me to teach a creative class in my old stomping grounds in Lompoc.  Well, one class filled up and then we filled another.  It was so much fun and so energizing to see sixteen ladies twist and swirl wire, making sea glass jewelry masterpieces.

Next up, October 12th, we're making Gifts from the Garden.  Come join the fun and get a jump start on your holiday gift list.  Details are at www.CreativeMeTime.com
