Creative Week

It's a busy, fun creative week...a high school classmate is coming Monday to learn how to make Sea Glass Jewelry then at night it's time to paint on wine glasses!  Tuesday I'm playing with EZ Screen Print personalizing favors for the Creative Me Time Retreat.  Wednesday is a little day-time play-time over at Heidi Borchers Design Studio where I'll work on a mosaic project and finish up the ceramic pieces for the retreat for the mobiles the attendees will make.  Thursday it's Sea Glass time again!  This is my hottest class and just last weekend sixteen people created amazing jewelry pieces.  Friday is a creative breather but that means it's time for creativity on the computer with lots of exciting things to share on social media.  Come join a class, expand your creative horizons and learn something new!  Info on all of my classes and the exciting retreat are at www.CreativeMeTime.com

Aleene's Bread Dough Recipe

People are always excited about these beautifully detailed roses and then they're AMAZED when I tell them they're made from white bread and Aleene's Tacky Glue!  Yes - bread and glue!  It's a recipe that's been around for ages and we're going to feature this technique at the Creative Me Time Retreat October 17-19th in gorgeous Cambria, California.  Come join Heidi Borchers and me for a weekend that's all about you!  Yup, an entire weekend filled with yummy food, 3 creative classes, shopping, napping, the Pacific Ocean, reading...whatever sounds good to you.

Info is on our website www.CreativeMeTime.com - we've made the retreat very affordable (only $195 all inclusive) - space is limited - right now's a good time to sign up.

Oh, we're adding the roses to the frame, gluing on some other embellishments and you'll take home a beautiful creation ready for that perfect picture.

Gifts from the Garden Art & Tasting Workshop

Gifts from the Garden Art & Tasting Workshop

Sunday, April 27th
1:00 – 3:00
Los Osos, California - just down the road from beautiful San Luis Obispo, CA
Teacher – Joan Fee
$40

This workshop has it all!  Shoes, gardening, creativity and tastings at the end!

Mixed Media Artist, Joan Fee will show you how easy it is to create adorable shoe succulent gardens. You’ll use a fun decoupage technique to decorate a shoe to your hearts content with decorative papers and magazines. Joan’s even providing the succulents so you’ll take home a completed Succulent Shoe Garden!

We’ll have a little time while we wait for the decoupage glue to dry so we can plant the succulents, so we’ll create sugar hand scrubs that make your hands feel amazing! They are quick to make and we'll be adding scents of yummy lavender or lemon from local gardens.

Rosemary Salt adds a perfect touch to focaccia bread or your savory dishes.  Joan will show how easily you can whip this up at home, package it up in a cute container and it's ready to give to the cooks on your gift list.  You’ll receive a sample and the recipe to create this at home.
This Gifts from the Garden Art and Tasting Workshop ends with a demonstration on how to simple it is to make yummy Limoncello. We’ll even have a little tasting and discuss ways to use Limoncello for entertaining.

Give yourself the gift of an afternoon of creativity and fun.  Other fun gardening projects are included in the workshop.  Get all of the exciting details and sign-up at www.CreativeMeTime.com
